OSU Heads to Eugene for Hayward Premier and NW Jamboree

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State track and field team will travel to Eugene to compete in the Hayward Premier and the NW Jamboree this weekend.
 
The Hayward Premier will be Friday and Saturday at Hayward Field. Oregon is hosting the event and other schools competing include Boise State, Utah, Washington State, BYU, Portland Arkansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Weber State, Oklahoma State, UC Davis, Tulsa, Wichita State, Portland State, Iowa State, and Southern Utah.
 
Events on Friday will begin at 5:20 pm (PT) with the women's 1500m race. Saturday will start with the men's 4x100m relay at 1:05 pm.
 
In a single day event, Portland State is hosting the NW Jamboree in Eugene at Lane Community College's Titan Stadium. The day starts at 4 pm (PT) with the women's 800m race.
 
Nine Beavers – Delia DeLeon, Alexa Hayes, Juliana Mount, Isabella Ayala, Libby Rinck, Hannah Hernandez, Maddie Fuhrman, Annika Sundstrom, and Liv Downing – will compete at the NW Jamboree.
 
DeLeon, Hayes, Mount, Ayala, Rinck, Hernandez, and Fuhrman will compete in the 1500m run scheduled for 4:25 pm. Sundstrom will be in the 800m run and Downing in the 5000m run.
