Bruins Complete Play at Wyoming Cowboy Classic

CHANDLER, Ariz. - The Bruins finished up play at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Tuesday at the Whirlwind Golf Club, placing 17th. UCLA shot an 8-over 296 in its final round to post a 54-hole score of 17-over 881.

Seniors Devon Bling and Eddy Lai were each the top UCLA finishers, tying for 52nd (+3, 219). Lai posted an even-par 72 in his final round, making birdies on the par-4 16th and par-5 second holes and two bogeys. Bling shot a 3-over 75 on four birdies on the par-5 17th and 12th holes and the par-4 18th and fourth to go with five bogeys and a double.

Sophomore Mason Greene was the lone Bruin to shoot under par on Tuesday, firing a 1-under 71. He made three birdies on the par-5 17th and 12th holes and the par-4 ninth, adding two bogeys to post at 7-over 223 for the tournament. Redshirt junior Kengo Aoshima tied for 86th (+9, 225), recording birdies on the par-4 first and eight holes, four bogeys and two doubles in a 6-over 78. Junior Bryan Wiyang Teoh tied for 90th (+10, 226), making five bogeys and a double in a 7-over 79.
