Baseball Heads to LA for Series with UCLA

Utah heads to Los Angeles, Calif. to take on UCLA for a three-game series at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
The Utes head into the weekend with a 4-8 record in Pac-12 play after winning one game in each series so far. The Bruins are 6-6 in the Pac-12 heading into the weekend.
The last meeting between the two teams, UCLA got the best of Utah by sweeping them.
KAI ROBERTS BRINGS SPARK
Freshman Kai Roberts has started in every game this season either at third base or designated hitter.
He has the third best average on the team hitting .281. The freshman third baseman has nine RBI. He has hits in 19 of the 26 games this season.
Roberts is one of three players that has played in every single game this season.
KRAMER LEADS THE TEAM IN RBI
Shea Kramer has come up in the clutch for Utah leading the team in RBI with 16.
A big part of that is he also leads the team in extra base hits. He has four doubles and three triples.
Overall, the right fielder has hit .229 on the season and has started in 16 or the 22
WATSON FINDS A RHYTHM
On Sunday against Cal, Utah needed a big start and got one from David Watson. He pitched 7.0 innings only allowing one run earning the Sunday win.
He followed that up with another strong outing against Oregon State pitching 7.2 innings and only giving up three runs on five hits. He struck out seven in Utah's first ever win in Corvallis.
The redshirt sophomore has a 4.73 ERA in Pac-12 play and is 2-2 overall in his four outings against Stanford, Cal, Oregon State and Washington State.
Utah will travel to Orem, Utah for a midweek contest. This time they will face Utah Valley on Tuesday, April 20.
