Ducks Host Stanford on Senior Day

EUGENE, Ore. – In its regular-season finale, the Oregon men's tennis team will host No. 24 Stanford on Friday afternoon. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. (PT) at the UO Student Tennis Center. Friday's match will feature the Ducks' first top-25 opponent at home this season.

Last Time Out
The Ducks snapped a three-match skid with a 4-0 win over UTSA (April 13) in Eugene. Oregon won the doubles points and completed the sweep with victories at No. 3, 4 and 5 singles. With the result, the Ducks improved to 14-5 this season and remained undefeated (13-0) on their home courts.
Early Advantage
Oregon has won the doubles point in 15 of 19 matches this season. At the top spot, Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele are 7-2 together since their first pairing Feb. 21 against Washington. In this week's ITA rankings, the UO pair check in as the No. 42 team in the country, up 28 spots from the previous poll. The team of Emmanuel Coste and Jesper Klöv-Nilsson led the team with 12 wins in doubles play.
Double Digits
With a win at No. 5 singles against UTSA (April 13), Brandon Lam collected his 10th win of the season, and became the fifth UO player to reach double figures. Jesper Klöv-Nilsson leads the way with 14 wins, followed by Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele with 11 each, and Lam and Emmanuel Coste at 10 wins apiece.
About Stanford
Stanford enters Friday's match undefeated in Pac-12 play at 5-0. Overall, the Cardinal is 8-3 this season with a No. 24 national ranking in this week's ITA poll. Individually, Arthur Fery and Axel Geller are ranked No. 36 and 89, respectively. The Ducks last defeated Stanford on April 16, 2017, a 4-3 win in Eugene.
Pac-12 Tournament
In a move from its usual location in Ojai, Calif., the 2021 Pac-12 Tournament (April 23-26) will be held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.
