BERKELEY, Calif. – For the fourth time this season, and for the third-straight match, Stanford women's soccer went to overtime.

This time the Cardinal got the result.

Kiki Pickett came up with an interception in the middle of the park, sprinted downfield to lead the counter, and gave the touch to Civana Kuhlmann in the final 18 yards for the 93rd minute golden goal. The goal was Kuhlmann's fourth of the season – all game winners.

The win ended a streak of back-to-back trips to overtime, and three of its last five, without three points for Stanford (6-6-2, 5-4-1 Pac-12), who avenged a mid-season, nonconference loss to the Bears at home, March 20. Pickett picked up her first assist of the season, while she was one of seven Cardinal players to play all 93 minutes.

Stanford again dominated the attack against California and out-shot its rivals, 14-2, with only one California shot being on goal. Maya Doms led the way with five shots.

The overtime thriller ends the Pac-12 season for Stanford, with the field for the NCAA tournament to be announced on Monday morning.
