Athens Named Pac-12 Offensive Player of Week

UCLA senior midfielder Olivia Athens has been named the Pac-12 Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Athens scored the game-tying goal in the 88th minute to help No. 3 UCLA come back from two goals down in a 2-2 draw with No. 19 USC. The Atherton, Calif. Native, who scored the game-winning goal on a header in double overtime at USC in 2018, made magic against the Trojans once again, scoring on a header off a set piece. Athens had four shots in the game, including three on goal.

This is the first Pac-12 weekly award for Athens, and she is the seventh different UCLA player to earn weekly awards this season.
