USC Men's Volleyball Faces No. 9 Grand Canyon In Quarterfinals Of MPSF Tournament At BYU
THE FACTS
The USC men's volleyball team (5-12 overall, 5-12 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) begins quarterfinal play in the 7-team MPSF Tournament at BYU when the unranked, fifth-seeded Trojans take on fourth-seed and No. 9-ranked Grand Canyon (8-10, 8-10) on Thursday (April 22) at 5 p.m. MT/4 p.m. PT. The winner advances to an MPSF semifinal match on Friday (April 23), with that winner playing in the MPSF Championship match on Saturday (April 24) at 7 p.m. MT/6 p.m. PT for an automatic berth into the NCAA tourney. It will be the Trojans'third consecutive match versus GCU, as USC closed out its regular season with a pair of losses against the Lopes.

USC is not ranked in the current AVCA Division I-II Top 15 poll. Grand Canyon is No. 9.
