The Ducks are coming off of a year that saw them accomplish a number of firsts during the conference season. They won four straight conference matches, good for the longest such streak in the last 20 years of the program while closing out the home schedule with the first win over Stanford in program history. Oregon also picked up three wins over opponents ranked in the ITA Team Top 50.
True freshman Janice Tjen has led the way all year for the Ducks, currently ranked No. 36 in the ITA Singles Rankings at 16-2 on the year in singles and 13-3 in doubles. She's won each of her last four singles matches against ranked opponents and is 5-2 on the year against ranked players and 8-1 in Pac-12 play. She also won Pac-12 Player of the Week honors following matches against Cal and Stanford that saw her beat a pair of top-50 players in singles play.
Tjen has been backed up all year by the solid play of Rifanty Kahfiani and Uxia Martinez Moral. The pair have been at the No. 1 doubles spot all year, going 10-4 in pairs play as one of the keys to the Ducks losing the opening point just three times all year in 19 matches. Kahfiani is also 11-5 on the year in singles play while Martinez Moral is 14-5, highlighted by the clinching victory in singles over Stanford on April 4.
Additionally, Julia Eshet and Allison Mulville have been a strong pair at the No. 3 doubles spot over the second half of the year, going 8-2 highlighted by an eight-match win streak. Eshet has also delivered solid play in singles, going 6-4 playing at the No. 4-6 spots and picking up key victories in team wins over USC and Stanford.
