Still holding a 1-0 lead in the fifth, the Utes got four hits to start the inning capped with a triple from Roberts scoring McLaughlin putting Utah up 3-0.

After the Utes had nothing going in the sixth, the Sun Devils once again scored a run in the seventh bringing Utah's lead to just one at 4-3. The Utes answered back in the bottom of the seventh for a big run to push the lead back to two runs.
Both teams went down in order in the eighth setting up the dramatic ninth inning.
Arizona State sustained a big rally in the ninth scoring four runs on five hits to go up 6-4. Utah came right back with the hit by Roberts and blast by Rowan quickly evened things up setting up the walk-off hit from Kramer. Seven runs were scored in the back and forth ninth that gave the Utes their 10th win of the season.
The game-winning RBI from Kramer was his fifth RBI of the weekend for the right fielder. This was the first walk-off win for Utah this season.
