Bears to Host Pac-12 Championship at Mayacama

SANTA ROSA, Calif. – California men's golf is set to begin the 2021 Pac-12 Men's Golf Championship, hosting the event at Mayacama Golf Club in Santa Rosa April 26-28. The four-round event will begin with two rounds on Monday. The first tee time is at 7am with the first Golden Bear teeing off at 8:06am on hole 10.
Here is how the Bears' lineup will look:

2. James Song
3. Sampson Zheng
4. Aaron Du
5. Costas Panay
6. Sebastian Iqbal
This is the third time this season that Tilly will enter a tournament ranked No. 1. The senior has led the team in two tournaments with his best finish coming just two weeks ago when he tied for ninth at the Western Intercollegiate. The six count five format will also feature sophomore Iqbal who qualified for the Bears for the second time this season. It will be his first tournament since competing at the Southwestern Invitational in the team's first competition of the spring. The duo of Zheng and Du have competed in all five of Cal's tournaments to this point while Song has been a staple in the last four. This will be Panay's second event this year, having also traveled to the Western Intercollegiate, finishing tied for 40th at Pasatiempo.
The last time the Bears competed at the Pac-12 Championship was in 2019 when Collin Morikawa took home the individual title.
The 2021 Pac-12 Championship will consist of four rounds over three days beginning on April 26. Live stats will be available here.
