Postseason play officially gets underway for the University of Utah Golf team this week as they are set to compete in the 2021 Pac-12 Men's Golf Championship, April 26-28. The three-day, four round tournament will take place in Santa Rosa, Calif. at the Mayacama Golf Club.

Utah will compete against the other 11 conference institutions while in California with six of the 12 teams competing this week ranking in the top-50 nationally on The Utes currently rank 50th overall while Arizona State (9), Arizona (21), Stanford (32), Washington (42) and Oregon State (45) joining the Utes among the best teams in the country.

The Utes' six-man lineup consists of Javier Barcos, Tristan Mandur, Jesper von Reedtz, Mitchell Schow, Colton Tanner and Blake Tomlinson.

The 2021 Pac-12 Men's Golf Championships will be a 72-hole tournament with two rounds taking place on Monday, followed by the third round on Tuesday and the final round on Wednesday. The top-five individual scores from each team will make up the team score for each round.

Monday's tee time will be between 8-10 a.m. MT for the first round and 1:30-3:30 p.m. MT for the second round. Tuesday's third round will begin at 11 a.m. MT with the final round teeing off at 8:30 a.m. MT on Wednesday.
After last year's Pac-12 Championships was cancelled due to the pandemic, the Utes are eager to get back on the course after its best outing in program history in 2018-19.

Utah tied for fifth overall at the Eugene Country Club in April of 2019, the team's highest finish since joining the Pac-12. Former Ute Kyler Dunkle was also Utah's highest individual finisher since joining the league after he placed second overall.

Mandur, Tomlinson and Schow have all competed in the Pac-12 Championships before with von Reedtz and Barcos competing in postseason play for the first time. Mandur tied for 16th overall in 2019 while Tomlinson and Schow tied for 43rd to give Utah four top-50 finishers that year.
