Hou, Warner Earn All-Pac-12 Recognition
SAN FRANCISCO – With the culmination of the 2021 Pac-12 Women's Golf Championships, Arizona Women's Golf standouts Yu-Sang Hou and Therese Warner earned all-conference accolades from the league. The Pac-12 honor was the second of Hou's career and the first for Warner as they helped guide the Wildcats to a pair of top-three finishes in the condensed season alongside a strong fourth-place showing at the Pac-12 Championships.
Hou, a senior from Taiwan, finished tied for third at 4-under at the Pac-12 Championships for her first top-three finish of the season and sixth of her decorated, All-American career. She was a model of consistency through the shortened season, finishing in the top 20 in every event she played. Her three-round score of 209 at this year's Pac-12 Championship was her career-low, 54-hole score. Hou is also the only player still on the roster from the program's 2018 national championship run.
Warner is in her second year in the program and posted a banner season this spring. The Pacific Northwest native finished in the top 25 in six of her team's eight events, including a pair of top-10 finishes. The sophomore set a career record in single round scoring with his blistering opening round of 65 to open the Wildcat invitational, which stands as the lowest round shot by any Wildcat this season.
Arizona awaits Wednesday's NCAA selection show to see where their postseason destination will be for NCAA Regionals during the second week of May.
