Player of the Week: Maddi Hackbarth, 5th Yr., C, ARIZONA STATE (Oakdale, Calif.)
- Led then-No. 12 Arizona State to a key series win over then-No. 8 Oregon, the Sun Devils’ fifth straight series win in Conference play.
- Reached base in nine of her 15 plate appearances, drawing four walks and launching a pair of home runs.
- Tied Arizona State’s single-season record for home runs (20).
- Knocked in five runs across four games, currently holds the Pac-12 lead with 56 RBIs in 2021.
- Second Pac-12 Player of the Week honor this season.
Pitcher and Freshman of the Week: Alana Vawter, R-Fr., P, STANFORD (Kansas City, Mo.)
- Earned back-to-back Freshman of the Week honors after delivering 22.1 shutout innings with 12 strikeouts against Oregon State this weekend.
- Secured three wins, including two complete-game shutouts and eight innings pitched in extra innings.
- Pitched 6.1 innings of scoreless relief in Stanford’s 13-inning marathon on Saturday, the Cardinal’s longest game since 2011.
- Tossed a complete-game two-hitter in the series finale, striking out six hitters.
- Second career Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honor and first career Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week accolade.
