The USC men's golf team, led by seniors Leon D'Souza and Kyle Suppa, have earned a spot in the 2021 NCAA Championships and are headed to Florida as a No. 10 seed in the Tallahassee Regional, the NCAA announced Wednesday (May 5).

Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 17-19. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams.  The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.

"We're thrilled. It has been a difficult year but we have one more chance to show what we can do," USC first-year head coach J.T. Higgins said. "I still think we have the ability to advance to to the national championships but we have to play our best golf and hopefully put it together at the right time of the year."

"The guys are excited. This is what you work for all year and we get to play at least one more time. It's good for the young guys going forward. We plan to be here every year and just the experience is great for everybody."

Advancing teams will compete at the national championship, May 28-June 2, at Grayhawk G.C. in Scottsdale, Ariz.

USC's region includes host Florida State as the top seed, followed in seed order by Georgia, Liberty, LSU, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, TCU, Indiana, Kansas, USC, Ohio State, Davidson, Florida A&M and LIU.

The Trojans are among eight Pac-12 teams playing in regionals.
