SAN FRANCISCO - Pac-12 Spring football continues this Saturday, May 22, as Stanford prepares for its upcoming season with the Cardinal & White Spring Game, kicking off at 1 p.m. PT / 2 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network and the Pac-12 Now app.

Ahead of the Cardinal & White Spring Game, Pac-12 Networks is re-airing this year’s 2021 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship Game between Stanford and Arizona at 11:30 a.m. PT / 12:30 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network. Relive the championship thriller that saw Stanford capture its first national title since 1992 behind head coach Tara VanDerveer, who became the winningest head coach in women’s basketball history this season.

Pac-12 Network’s Yogi Roth will be joined by play-by-play announcer Ted Robinson on Saturday, as head coach David Shaw and the Cardinal look to build off of their 4-2 season in 2020 with another strong showing this year. Despite losing seven offensive players to the NFL in 2021, the Cardinal believes it has a talented group of players and coaching staff that can fill the voids of the stars that went to the NFL. Stanford brought in a new offensive line coach this offseason in Terry Heffernan, who comes to Stanford with over a decade of NFL experience, most recently the past two seasons with the Buffalo Bills.

When asked about their approach to preparing for the upcoming season, Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach Tavita Pritchard said, “There were stretches where we played really well. Now, it's about taking the next step as a unit, to do it consistently. That comes down to limiting mistakes by improving on techniques, on execution. It's making sure guys know their job, know the technique that's being asked of them, and going out and doing it."
