USC Men's Golf Finishes Season With 12th-Place Finish In NCAA Tallahassee Regional
Junior Cameron Henry's 73 led USC in the final round of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional at the Seminole Legacy G.C. on Wednesday (May 19) while freshman Shane Ffrench topped Trojan finishers overall.
USC completed its first season under Head Coach J.T. Higgins with a 12th-place finish in Florida at a combined 31-over 895 (302-296-297). Host Florida State won the region at 34-under 830 and were joined in the top 5 - who advance to the NCAA finals - by Georgia (-17) Georgia Tech (-16), Liberty (—16) and TCU (-9).
Ffrench tied for 51st at 7-over 223 (74-75-74), closing his season with one birdie today.
Henry (78-73-73) and sophomore Tyler Guo (74-75-75) tied for 56th at 8-over 224. Henry had four birdies today, including a stretch of three over four holes on the front, while Guo eagled 12.
Senior Leon D'Souza, who had three birdies Wednesday, tied for 60th at 9-over 225 (76-74-75) and senior Kyle Suppa, also with three birdies today, tied for 66th at 14-over 230 (79-74-77).
