Ponwith went on to pick up seven victories against ranked opponents. His success continued in doubles play where he strung together another six-straight wins playing alongside Max McKennon and George Stoupe.

Ponwith's time in Maroon and Gold isn't done yet. He kicks off the NCAA Singles Championship Sunday morning at 10 a.m. EST (7 a.m. PST) at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. Matchups are expected to be announced Saturday morning.
