Incoming freshmen gymnasts Jordan Chiles, Emily Lee and Emma Malabuyo will compete at the GK U.S. Classic in Indianapolis on Saturday.
Malabuyo will compete in the afternoon session at 1pm ET/10am PT. The session will be streamed free on NBC's Peacock. Chiles and Lee are in the evening session, which will be televised live on NBCSN at 7pm ET/4pm PT.
Both Chiles and Malabuyo are former U.S. Classic all-around champions. Malabuyo won the all-around and floor titles in the junior division in 2017. Chiles won the junior all-around and vault titles in 2014 and the vault crown in 2016.
All three future Bruins competed earlier in the year at the Winter Cup, with Chiles winning the all-around, vault and floor and placing second on beam. Lee placed third in the all-around and second on floor, and Malabuyo finished in sixth place on beam.
The GK U.S. Classic will feature many of the top gymnasts in the nation, including Olympic medalists Simone Biles, Laurie Hernandez and Chellsie Memmel, and is the final opportunity for gymnasts to qualify to the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, which will be held June 3-6 in Fort Worth, Texas.
