No. 16 Oregon State Closes Season at IRA Championships

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State men's rowing team is set to race at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championships along the shores of Mercer Lake this weekend at West Windsor, N.J.
Three OSU crews - the Varsity 8, Junior Varsity 8, and Third Varsity 8 - will take to the waters of Mercer Lake on Friday morning for time trials. Based on their time, each crew will be placed in a semifinal (A, B, C, D, and E) to race Friday afternoon. Teams will then be seeded for finals on Saturday morning based on their respective finishes in the semifinals.
The Beavers, who most recently finished third overall at the Pac-12 Rowing Championships, will compete at the IRA Championships for the eighth straight season.
