Four Beavers Trialing for U23 World Rowing Championships

Jun 3, 2021

CORVALLIS, Ore. Four Oregon State women's rowing student-athletes are trialing for the 2021 U23 World Rowing Championships.

The World Rowing Championships are set to take place in Racice, Czech Republic, July 7-11.

Sierra Bishop is trialing for a spot on the United States team. Her trials are June 1-20 in Iowa City, Iowa. The U.S. team will be announced at the conclusion of the camp. Bishop served an important role in the varsity-8 boat, helping the Beavers earn a fourth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships, the best finish since 2009.

Charlotte Gregory, Zoe Adamson, and Muryn Greene are trialing for the Great Britain camp. Adamson is participating in the sculling trials, while Gregory is looking to be a coxswain and Greene is in the sweep trials.

Greene and Adamson were crucial in helping Oregon State to its fourth-place Pac-12 Championships finish.

The freshman, Gregory, coxed the second varsity-8 boat for OSU in five of six events this season.
