DUBLIN, Ohio - For the second time in three seasons, Bruin alum Patrick Cantlay won the Memorial Tournament, also known as Jack Nicklaus' tournament.

Cantlay won his fourth event on the PGA TOUR, which includes a 2019 victory at Muirfield Village. Tied with Collin Morikawa to start Sunday's final round, both players shot 1-under 71s. Trailing Morikawa by one going into the 17th hole, Cantlay drained a 23-foot, 7-inch putt to tie the lead. After pars for both players on the 18th hole, Cantlay made a par on the first playoff hole, with Morikawa missing his par putt to give the Bruin the win.

Cantlay claimed his second win of the 2020-2021 season after taking the title at the Zozo Championship at Sherwood in late October. With this week's win, Cantlay moves up to first in the season-long FedExCup standings.
