Arizona Track & Field Sends 12 to NCAA Championships

TUCSON, Ariz. Arizona Track & Field will send 12 student-athletes to the NCAA Championships which begin on Wednesday, June 9 in Eugene, Ore. at Hayward Field. The 2021 Track & Field Championships will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks as well as streamed on ESPN3.
 
Highlighting the entries are Samantha Noennig, Shannon Meisberger, Justice Summerset, Jordan Geist and Israel Oloyede, who all enter the championships with top-10 marks in their respective events. Additionally, Arizona's men's 4x400m relay team enters this week with the sixth-fastest time in the country after breaking the school record at the NCAA Prelims with a time of 3:04.10.
 
Competition begins with the men's side on Wednesday followed by the women's side on Thursday. Advancing participants on the men's side will compete in the finals on Friday with the women's finals wrapping up the championships on Saturday.
