NFCA Honors Huskies With Regional Coaching Staff Of The Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Washington's coaching staff of Heather Tarr, JT D'Amico, Lance Glasoe, and Whitney Jones were honored as the NFCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year representing the Pacific region. Washington's coaching staff is one of ten eligible for the National Coaching Staff of the Year award, set to be unveiled on June 24.

This is the second year in a row that the Huskies have earned the Regional Coaching Staff of the Year award, with the award not given in 2020. Washington has earned the award in three of the last four years that the NFCA was honored coaching staffs, also earning it in 2017 and 2019.

Tarr's staff has earned the National Coaching Staff of the Year award once, in 2009 after securing Washington's first national championship. Washington is one of ten program eligible for the national award, along with Oklahoma, Michigan, Duke, UCLA, Virginia Tech, Miami (Ohio), South Dakota State, Arkansas, and James Madison.

This year, the Huskies went 45-14, finishing second in the Pac-12 and reaching Super Regionals for the fifth consecutive year. The Huskies were ranked in the nation's top ten every week, making it 62 consecutive weeks in the top ten and 201 consecutive weeks ranked in the NFCA Coaches' Poll.
