The USC men's swimming program has added Northwestern transfer Henry Blaul to its 2021-2022 roster.
After taking a gap year (2020-21), Blaul will join the Trojans as a junior, while only having used two seasons of NCAA eligibility. At USC, he will be majoring in Economics with a minor in Business Finance.
A six-foot, Marina, Calif. native, Blaul comes to USC after two seasons (2018-2020) competing under Jeremy Kipp while he was head coach at Northwestern.
In 2020, Blaul finished second in both the 100y and 200y breast and swam the breaststroke leg of Northwestern's first place 200y medley relay against UIC and Illinois.
At the 2019 TYR Invitational, Henry took gold in the 200y IM (1:47.39) and finished second in both the 100y breast and 200y back.
Blaul will no doubt play a large role in the Trojans 2021-22 season of competition as one of the teams strong breaststrokers.
