Six members of Washington's women's rowing team have been named 2021 Scholar Student-Athletes by the College Rowing Coaches Association.

McKenna Bryant (Jr., Kent, Wash.), Jenna Phillips (Sr., Dayton, Wash.), Tabea Schendekehl (Sr., Dortmund, Germany), Brittani Shappell (Jr., Bellingham, Wash.), Lark Skov (Sr., Steamboat Springs), and Katherine Slack (Sr., Everett, Wash.) were all named to the team.

To earn a place on the CRCA's Scholar Student-Athlete team, a rower must be an sophomore, junior or senior; must have rowed in one of the NCAA-eligible crews for 75 percent of the season; and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The CRCA will also name its All-America team in the coming days.
