ROEDOVRE, Denmark – California's Hannah Viller Moeller captured the singles title and the mixed doubles crown at the recent Danish Championships held at the Roedovre Tennis Club. The Copenhagen native, who completed her first season for the Cal women's tennis team in the spring, also paired with Emma Hakansson to take second in doubles.

"We're just really proud of Hannah," Cal head coach Amanda Augustus said. "She had a very successful freshman season at Cal in the spring semester, and she's continued her stellar play in the summer. Anytime you can win a national championship it's a big honor, and we're really proud of how Hannah represents Cal. It's very exciting for her to go home and win more national championships in Denmark."

An All-Pac-12 honorable mention in her first season at Cal, Viller Moeller defeated Rebecca Munk Mortensen, 6-0, 6-2, in Sunday's final to win the third Danish singles title of her career (including wins in 2017 and 2019). Also on Sunday, the duo of Viller Moeller and Hakansson fell to Simone Alipieva and Karoline Laursen, 3-6, 6-1, 10-8, in the doubles final.
