The Road Ahead
STANFORD, Calif. – The 2021 fall schedule was announced by Stanford women's soccer, Tuesday. The Cardinal – who have won two of the last four College Cups – will play a 19-match season this fall, with 11 being played at the friendly confines of Maloney Field at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
Stanford opens the season, August 19, at Cal Poly, with the home opener set for the following Thursday, August 26, against CSUN at 7 p.m. PT. Pac-12 play will open against Utah, Sept. 24, at home.
The Cardinal will play 14 games on the Pac-12 Network this fall, with a match against defending national champions Santa Clara at home, Sept. 19, highlighting the nonconference slate.
This fall marks the 19th season under the direction of Paul Ratcliffe, the Knowles Family Director of Women's Soccer. Ratcliffe owns a 326-58-31 record in his tenure on The Farm, having led the Cardinal to three national titles.
