CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout Frankie Hammoude has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Thursday.
Hammoude, a public health major, was an All-Pac-12 First Team and All-Pacific Region selection this season. She set the program record with 17 home runs, and had the second-best single-season slugging percentage at .765.
The Oakland, Calif. native led the Beavers with 41 RBI and 49 hits. She ended her sophomore campaign with a total of 28 career home runs.
Hammoude is one of 11 Pac-12 players to make the District 8 squad.
