RICHMOND, Va. – Seven members of the California men's swimming & diving team earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the organization announced Tuesday.
Cal also received CSCAA Scholar All-America team honors last month (June 22) after posting a combined 3.25 GPA for the 2021 spring semester.
To qualify for the first team, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.50 or higher and participated in the NCAA Championships in 2021. Honorable mention selections must have also earned a 3.50 GPA or higher and achieved a "B" time standard for the national championship or participated at a diving zone qualification meet.

Dylan Hawk (HM) – Electrical Engineering & Computer Science
Tyler Kopp – Undeclared
Jack Meehan (HM) – Undeclared
Reece Whitley – Business Administration
Zach Yeadon – Political Science
Of the seven Golden Bears who collected individual honors, five were first-time recipients. Leading the way were Whitley, now a three-time Scholar All-America first team selection, and Biondi, who was an honorable mention in three consecutive seasons (2018-20) before earning his first first-team nod this spring.
