TEMPE, Ariz. – The UCLA men's tennis team and seven of its student-athletes were acknowledged Monday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), which announced the 2021 ITA Division I Academic Awards.

Head coach Billy Martin's roster received an All-Academic Team nod for the second time in as many years. In order to earn the team award, a program must possess a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or better.

Individually, Sam Feit, Eric Hahn, Blaine Hovenier, Stefan Leustian, Timothy Li, Govind Nanda and Mathew Tsolakyan were named ITA Scholar-Athletes after logging GPAs of 3.5 or better over the course of the most recent academic year.

Feit and Nanda collected their third Scholar-Athlete awards. Feit, who joined the Bruins as a graduate transfer in July 2020, was previously honored twice while at Gonzaga University.

Hahn, Hovenier and Tsolakyan made the list for the second time. Each also made the cut in 2020.

Leustian and Li were each recognized for the first time, having recently completed their first season.
