Otton Named To Mackey Watch List

NEW YORK -- Washington senior Cade Otton was named to the preseason John Mackey Award watch list on Friday. Otton was one of eight semifinalists for the award in 2020.
Otton was first-team All-Pac-12 in 2020 after leading the Huskies in receptions (18), yards (258) and touchdowns (3). Otton has played in 31 games in three years, making 27 starts. He has been named to the 2021 Preseason Third-Team All-America by Phil Steele and Fourth-Team All-America by Athlon.
The Mackey Award will narrow the list to eight semifinalists and three finalists before announcing the winner as part of the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show held on December 9, 2021.
Former Husky Austin Seferian-Jenkins won the Mackey Award in 2013.
