Arizona Soccer Announces 2021 Schedule

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Wildcats women's soccer team have announced their 2021 Fall schedule. The 20 match schedule features 11 home matches, including the regular season opener against Utah Valley on Friday August 20. Now under the guidance of new Head Coach Becca Moros, the Cats schedule features home matches against Northern Arizona (8/27), Texas Tech (9/9), Nebraska (9/12), Gonzaga (9/16), UCLA (9/30), USC (10/3), Washington (10/15), Utah (10/28), Colorado (10/31) and Arizona State (11/5). The overall schedule includes six teams which ranked or received votes in the final NCAA United Soccer Coach rankings last season.

"We're very excited to get the season started," said Moros who was announced the Cats head coach on June 17. "We've had to come together quickly but this team will be ready. After the unprecedented 2020 season, getting to play in front of fans again will be special. Our home schedule is challenging but one I believe our fans will enjoy."

The Cats welcome back 19 returning players, including redshirt seniors Jill Aguilera and Sabrina Enciso who enter their 5th season at Arizona. Nine new freshman will be welcomed to the pitch to the complete the 28 player Wildcat roster.

Last season, the Wildcats finished 9-5-1 with program history wins over Stanford, Cal, and Arizona State.
