Trenton Julian captured four titles at the 2021 Speedo West Summer Championships in Irvine.

IRVINE, Calif. – California's Trenton Julian won four individual titles at the 2021 Speedo Summer Championships and highlighted a large contingent of Golden Bears who competed at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center on Aug. 3-7.

Julian, who completed his fourth year at Cal this past spring, swam for his club, Rose Bowl Aquatics, and won the 100-meter butterfly (51.74), 200m fly (1:54.71), 200m freestyle (1:47.83) and 200m individual medley (1:57.86) in Irvine. His 1:54.71 performance in the 200m fly made him the fastest American and the seventh-fastest man in the world in the event this year, while his 1:57.86 in the 200m IM was the fifth-fastest time by an American this year.

Julian set personal bests in four events, including the 200m fly, 200m IM, 200m breaststroke (2:16.41) and the 100m free (49.97) while serving as Rose Bowl Aquatics' relay lead-off swimmer.
