TUCSON, Ariz. — For the first time in 2021 Fall Camp, the Arizona Wildcats took to the practice fields under the lights on Sunday night. Donning shoulder pads and helmets, the Wildcats pushed forward in their preparation for the 2021 season opener.
The team briefly moved their training indoors to the state-of-the-art Cole and Jeannie Davis Sports Center, dodging storms building on the horizon without missing a beat.
Sunday's theme centered around competition, which remains strong across the board. Two of the offense's most important roles, quarterback and running back, have a stable of talented student-athletes working to make their case for starting roles and playing time come September and beyond.

Quote of the Day
"My philosophy is very similar to coach Fisch's. It's like in baseball, if you have five or six catchers that's a pretty good baseball team. So if you have [running] backs that can play and sub and do different things ... we have a great arsenal of backs. Some are tall, some are short." -Assistant Coach, Running Backs Scottie Graham
