TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona Swimming and Diving has announced its 2021-2022 Schedule.
The campaign consists of 15 meets throughout the year, highlighted by eight meets at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center, Family weekend versus Wisconsin and Hawaii, and a trip in December to the Minnesota Invitational.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, the Pac-12 Championships will begin at the end of February, in Federal Way, Washington. NCAA Championships will be played in Atlanta, Georgia in March.
Last year, the Arizona men finished 12th at NCAA's with a total of 106 points, their highest total since 2014 when they concluded with 198.5 points. The Wildcat women placed 25th overall, with a total of 34.5 points.
Arizona will head into the season lead by senior standouts, Brooks Fail and Delaney Schnell. Fail, is coming off his most successful season of his career, setting the school record in the 1650 free (14:31.38), placing top three in two events at Pac-12 Championships, and earning CSCAA All-American honors in three different events.
Schnell, an Olympic medalist, enters her senior campaign looking to continue her dominance after bringing home a Silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Pac-12 Diver of the Year honors, and setting the school platform record (383.35) last season.
