Krawczyk Advances To US Open Mixed Doubles Finals

Sep 10, 2021

NEW YORK CITY – Sun Devil Women's Tennis alumna Desirae Krawczyk has reached the mixed doubles finals at the US Open with her partner Joe Salisbury after winning their semifinal match in straight sets, 7-6, 6-4. She will be going for her third-straight Grand Slam title on Saturday at 10 a.m. MST.

Back in July, Krawczyk won her first Wimbeldon title, taking the mixed doubles championship with Neal Skupski. In June, she earned her first Grand Slam victory after teaming with current teammate Salisbury to capture the mixed doubles championship at the French Open. For Salisbury, he already has hardware from this year's US Open after winning the men's doubles title.

The 27-year-old Krawczyk has 14 professional doubles titles to her name, including four this year. Her last two Grand Slam titles are the only two mixed-doubles crowns in her career.

The mixed doubles finals can be watched on the ESPN app.
