  • With the 34-32 loss at TCU, Cal is 0-2 all-time against the Horned Frogs
  • Cal lost both its first regular-season non-conference game to a Power 5 opponent and on the road under Travers Family Head Football Coach Justin Wilcox, falling to 4-1 in non-conference games against Power 5 competition and 3-1 in non-conference road contests
  • Overall, Cal is 10-3 (9-2 regular season) vs. non-conference opponents under Wilcox
  • Cal lost for the first time in Amon G. Carter Stadium after winning the Armed Forces Bowl over Air Force in both 2007 and 2015
  • Chase Garbers finished 16-for-27 for 309 yards and two touchdowns and was 11-for-14 for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the first half - his most yards ever in one half, besting the 202 yards in the second half at Ole Miss in 2019

  • Damien Moore scored two touchdowns for the first time in his career (on runs of 12 and 1 yards and finished the game with 71 yards on 14 carries
  • Daniel Scott had 9-yard pick six in the second quarter to give Cal a 12-0 lead for his second career interception and Cal's first pick six since the Bears had two in the first quarter vs. Colorado on Nov. 24, 2018 (Elijah Hicks, Ashtyn Davis)
  • Cal went 68 yards on its first two drives of the game (1 TD) after posting TD drives of 63 and 72 yards on its first two drives against Nevada
  • Cameron Goode had his 15th and 16th career sacks for a combined career-high minus-27 yards with the 2.0 sacks tying a career high
  • Goode also had 3.0 tackles for loss for a career-high -30 yards
  • Jaedon Roberts had his first career sack in the second quarter
  • Evan Tattersall and Elijah Hicks tied their career-high with eight tackles each, while Chigozie Anusiem recorded a career-high five
  • Four players made their Cal debuts in Matt Horwitz, Darius Long, Femi Oladejo and Jermaine Terry II with Oladejo (five tackles) and Horwitz (one tackle) also recording their first stats
