Men’s Basketball 2021-22 Nonconference Schedule Announced

EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon men's basketball program released its 2021-22 nonconference schedule on Tuesday morning, highlighted by the PK Invitational, the Maui Invitational, and a home contest against defending national champion Baylor.

The Ducks – coming off their fourth NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance in five years – will open the 2021-22 season on Nov. 9 against Texas Southern in Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon will then welcome Southern Methodist to Eugene on Nov. 12.
 
The PK Invitational returns to the Moda Center in Portland, where the Ducks will face off with BYU on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. PT. Tickets will go on sale Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. PT, and can be purchased online at www.rosequarter.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
 
Oregon will make its third appearance in the Maui Invitational, which is in its 38th year and will be contested Nov. 22-24 at the historic Lahaina Civic Center on the island of Maui. The Ducks will open against host Chaminade on Nov. 22, and are part of an impressive field that also includes Notre Dame, St. Mary's, Houston, Butler, Wisconsin and Texas A&M.
 
The Ducks will then return home for back-to-back home nonconference games, hosting Montana (Nov. 29) and UC Riverside (Dec. 1) in MKA.
 
The Pac-12 Conference schedule will begin with a pair of league games in December. Oregon will host Arizona State on Dec. 5 before traveling to Stanford on Dec. 12.
 
The Ducks' nonconference schedule will wrap with a trio of home games, headlined by a showdown with Baylor on Dec. 18. Oregon will also host Portland on Dec. 15, and Pepperdine on Dec. 21.
