BOULDER — The University of Colorado will continue its cross country season this weekend with both the men's and women's teams racing at Oklahoma State's Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The meet will take place on Saturday, September 18, at the OSU Cross Country Course. The men's 8-kilometer race will start at 7:30 a.m. MT (8:30 a.m. CT) and the women will follow with a 6k run at 8:15 a.m. MT (9:15 a.m. CT). This will be the second time the Buffs have raced this course this calendar year as the 2020 NCAA Championships were run there on March 15, 2021.
"We have never been to the Jamboree before but we did run on the course in the strange last Covid year," head coach Mark Wetmore said. "We are learning about the course because the NCAA Championships are there in 2022."
Live results for the meet are available here.
This will be the first time Colorado's men have had a chance to race this season since heavy rain and lightning caused several delays at the Wyoming Invitational, forcing the Buffs to wait another 15 days to start their 2021 season. The women will be running their second meet of the season having already raced at the Wyoming Invite.
