Sep 23, 2021

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The off-field academic success continues for the Utah women's soccer program after earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 12th-consecutive season and 20th overall award since the award began in 1996. This award recognizes exemplary performances in the classroom during the 2020-21 academic year.

Utah was one of eight schools in the Pac-12 to receive this honor, and the grade point average of 3.70 for the Utes was the highest GPA for any Pac-12 school. For the complete list of schools to receive this honor, click here

A total of 602 soccer teams (220 men, 382 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 academic year. Of that total, 90 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

The Utes return to action on Friday, September 24, when they travel to Stanford, California, to face Stanford in the Utes Pac-12 opener. First kick is set for 7 p.m. MT.
