SEATTLE – The Washington women's soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award on Thursday. The Huskies held a 3.64 team GPA in the 2020-21 academic year, with 16 different Huskies earning a spot on the Pac-12 honor roll. The 16 academic honorees were the most in program history for the Huskies.

Kaylene Pang and Olivia Van der Jagt earned Scholar All-Region awards from the United Soccer Coaches in recognition for their academic excellence. Pang was named to the First Team, while Van der Jagt earned Second Team honors.

UW received the Team Academic Award for the sixth straight year and for the 20th time overall since the award first began in 1996. Washington was one of 90 NCAA schools to be recognized nationally for both the men's and women's soccer programs. UW was one of only three programs in the Pac-12 to be recognized for both the men and women (Oregon State, UCLA).
