BERKELEY, CALIF. -- It was a solid return to action for the Sun Devils, who opened play of their first fall season in two years, at Day 1 of the Cal Invitational hosted by the Golden Bears.

The Devils were perfect in doubles play, sweeping their three matches. Cali Jankowski and Domenika Turkovic cruised past UC Davis' Lauren Ko and Sara Tsukamoto, 8-1 in the Round of 16.

Marianna Argyrokastriti and Sedona Gallagher took care of Santa Clara's Finley Kalinic and Katherine Petty, 8-3, while Amber Lee and Natasha Hill made quick work of Pacific's Ella LeRov and Maile Brihante, 8-0.

In the singles bracket, four of the six Sun Devils competing won their first match to advance beyond the Round of 32.
