Huskies Blow Into Windy City For Windon Memorial

WINCOE, Ill. -- The Husky men's golf team embarks on a Midwest road trip that will take them to the greater Chicago area for the Windon Memorial starting Monday and capped with a trip to South Bend, Ind., for the Fighting Irish Classic next week. 

The Huskies are among 14 teams competing at Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Ill., for the 54-hole Windon Memorial, Monday through Tuesday. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday at the 7,000-yard, par-71 course and 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Huskies lineup will be led by RJ Manke, who has a second-place and third-place finish so far in 2021. Joining Manke in the lineup are Noah Woolsey, Teddy Lin, Petr Hruby and Aidan O'Hagan. Taehoon Song will be competing as an individual.

Washington will tee off starting at 8:05 local time and will be paired with host Northwestern and Georgia Tech. Also participating in the tournament are Cal Poly, Indiana, Kansas, Kent State, Marquette, Michigan State, North Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Florida and UC Davis.
