Play Suspended Due to Darkness At Golfweek Red Sky Classic

WOLCOTT, Colo. – Play was suspended during the second round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Tuesday due to darkness following an afternoon weather delay.
 
The University of Colorado women's golf team had two players finish the second round of the 6,305-yard, par 72 Fazio Course at Red Sky Golf Club. Malak Bouraeda cut two strokes off her first round score and carded a 79.
 
Natalie Vo, CU's individual in the tournament, carded a 2-over (38) on the front and back nines to finish with a 76. She recorded four birdies and four bogeys. Vo is currently 3-over for the tournament (71-76—147).
 
Diane Baillieux and Ellie Gower each had one hole remaining when play was suspended. Gower is currently at 2-over (69) for the round, while Bailliuex is 5-over (72).
 
Hailey Schalk and Lauren Gooding both had three holes left to play. Gooding had carded a 61 and Schalk had a 62. Overall Gooding is tied for fifth in the field at 3-under while Schalk is tied for 10th at 1-under. Gooding recorded her second straight round with an eagle on Tuesday and in currently in her collegiate debut tournament.  
 
Of the 20 teams in the field, only four completed the second round. Colorado is currently sixth with a 10-over for the round.
