FORT WORTH, Texas - Stanford men's golf sits in fifth place through 36 holes on Monday at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club. The Cardinal is led by Michael Thorbjornsen and Henry Shimp, who both sit inside the Top 10 with 18 holes left to play on Tuesday.

In a stacked field, Stanford leads teams such as No. 6 Texas, No. 7 Clemson, No. 18 Vanderbilt and No. 19 Georgia. The Cardinal trails only No. 25 Pepperdine, who leads the field at 1-over, No. 5 Oklahoma State, No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 35 Wake Forest.
