FORT WORTH, Texas – Oregon shot its best round of the tournament to move up a spot during the final round of the Colonial Collegiate Invitational.
The Ducks had an 8-over 288 on Tuesday and finished in 13th, a stroke ahead of No. 5 Clemson and five shots better than Baylor.
How It Happened: Yuki Moriyama led the Ducks with his best round of the tournament, a 1-under 69. He holed out from the fairway on the par four, 12th hole for an eagle and also counted three birdies in his round.
The Ducks had a 71 from Nate Stember, who also eagled on Tuesday, and a 72 from Owen Avrit. Stember eagled the par five, first hole.
Avrit was Oregon's highest finisher, tying for 41st at 9-over 219. Stember and Greyson Leach were a shot behind in 46th.
Notable: Avrit was Oregon's top golfer for the third time in three tournaments this fall.
