Bears Annual Tip-Off Event Set for October 31

BERKELEY – The 2021-22 season is just over a month away, and the Cal women's basketball team is excited to welcome back its fans. The Golden Bears will host their annual Tip-Off Event, where fans can get an early look at this year's squad at Haas Pavilion.

The Tip-Off Event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Oct. 31 starting with practice that is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Doors open at 9:45 a.m., with seating available on first come, first served basis.

Following practice, fans will have a chance to meet and mingle with the Cal players and staff out on Spieker Plaza right in front of Haas Pavilion starting at 1:00 p.m. Festival-themed activities on the Plaza will include a bounce house, corn hole, and popcorn along with the University of California Marching Band and cheer squad.  

The Bears boast a young and talented squad. This season 12 letter winners are back, in addition Cal features an impressive crop of newcomers to add to the mix as well.
