USC’s Stefan Dostanic, Bradley Frye Advance Again At ITA All-American

TULSA, OKLA. — It was another victorious day for two Trojans in Tulsa, Okla., with Stefan Dostanic notching a comeback win in singles to advance to the Round of 16 before teaming up with Bradley Frye for a smooth doubles win to move into tomorrow's quarterfinals out at the ITA Men's All-American Championships.

Ranked #68 in the nation in singles, junior Dostanic ousted another higher-ranked foe with another impressive comeback win. Dostanic dropped the first set today to #38 Francisco Rocha of Middle Tennessee State before roaring back to tally the win 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 and punch his ticket to tomorrow's singles Round of 16. There, he'll  face Washington's #72 Clement Chidekh at 9 a.m. CT.

It would be another Middle Tennessee State clash for USC in the doubles Round of 16, as Dostanic and Frye — ranked #17 in the nation — took down #21 Motl/Slump 6-3, 6-1. That sets up a quarterfinal bout for the Trojan pair against Denver's #20 Davis/Summers at 3 p.m. CT tomorrow.
