CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Washington State men's golf teams heads the Beaver State next week to participate in the 2021 Oregon State Invitational. The two-day, three-round tees off this Monday, Oct. 11, at the Trysting Tree Golf Course in Corvallis, Oregon.
The Course: The 2021 Oregon State Invitational will take place the Trysting Tree Golf Course, a 7,384-yard course that plays as a par 71.
Tee Times: There will be a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, with the first two rounds of play. The third-round tee times start at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12.
WSU Lineup: Redshirt senior Max Sekulic will man the No. 1 spot for the Cougars for the third-consecutive tournament, while sophomore Jaden Cantafio will occupy the second slot for the Cougs at the Oregon State Invitational. Fellow sophomore Preston Bebich will tee off in the No. 3 spot, while junior Pono Yanagi will man the No. 4 slot. Redshirt sophomore Tianyu Wu rounds out WSU's lineup, while freshman Peter Jung will play in the tournament as an individual.
The Field: The Oregon State Invitational will consist of a 14-team field. Oregon State, Washington, Utah, Boise State, Santa Clara, Cal Poly, Pacific, Grand Canyon, Cal Baptist, Seattle U., Idaho, Sacramento State and Dixie State will be competing about the Cougars at the Trysting Tree Golf Course.

Last Time Out: Redshirt senior Max Sekulic posted his second top-25 finish of the season, as he finished the Fighting Irish Classic in a tie for 25th on the player leaderboard after carding two-over par; 212. The Washington State men's golf team concluded the tournament in 12th place on the team leaderboard
Sekulic rounded out the two-day Fighting Irish Classic by collected a team-best six birdies in Tuesday's third round to post a round score of three-over par; 73. They Rycroft, Canada carded 67-72-73 in three rounds of play to conclude the tournament in a tie for 25th place. It is the second-straight top-25 finish for Sekulic, as he previously finished in a tie for 15th at the Husky Invitational.
As a team, the Cougars concluded the Fighting Irish Classic in 12th place after carding 871 (+31). WSU rounded out the two-day, three-round tournament by posting a team score of 295 (+15).
