USC’s Dostanic/Frye Fall In ITA All-American Doubles Semifinal

TULSA, OKLA. — USC's doubles duo of Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye saw their bid for a spot in the ITA All-American title match dashed today with a loss in the semifinals. That wraps the Trojans' time in Tulsa, Okla., for the prestigious event.

Ranked #17 in the nation in doubles, Dostanic and Frye served up three straight-set wins over ranked opponents to reach the semifinals, looking for a chance to be the first USC pair to make the final at the ITA All-American since 1985. But Ohio State's Boulais/Trotter interrupted that plan, posting a 6-4, 6-3 win over the Trojans today.

The next competition for USC tennis will come at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships, running Oct. 22-25 in Malibu, Calif.
